   Greetings from up north! My name is Stephen Emery, owner and guide of Full of Hope Charter Services. I have fished the Big Manistee River from one end to the other, spending most of my years around Tippy Dam. I have landed several hundred steelhead over the years, with fifty or more in the 14 - 18 pound range and one weighing just over 20 pounds (picture above). It would be impossible to describe the thrill of steelhead fishing in a few short words. Whether it would be the solitude of just yourself and the river or the company of you and your fellow fisherman during the peek of the run; whether steelhead or salmon.

....I am also a committed Christian and family man, with an understanding wife, five fantastic children, and several grandchildren that I have endeavored to pass on and instill in them a love and respect for God's great outdoors, whether it is fishing or hunting or just sight seeing. My commitment is to provide you with an opportunity for a full day of fishing steelhead or salmon on the Big Manistee River and making some fantastic memories while doing it!
