....Greetings from up north! My name is Stephen Emery, owner and guide of Full of Hope Charter Services. I am currently employed at Pineview Children's Home in Evart Michigan, and have been for the last 20 years. My position is evening and weekend supervisor which has allowed me the time necessary to start this new venture.

....I have fished the Big Manistee River from one end to the other, spending most of my years around Tippy Dam. I have landed several hundred steelhead over the years, with fifty or more in the 14 - 18 pound range and one weighing just over 20 pounds (picture above). It would be impossible to describe the thrill of steelhead fishing in a few short words. Whether it would be the solitude of just yourself and the river or the company of you and your fellow fisherman during the peek of the run; whether steelhead or salmon.

....I am also a committed Christian and family man. I have a very understanding wife and five fantastic children that I have endeavored to pass on and instill in them a love and respect for God's great outdoors, whether it is fishing or hunting or just sight seeing. My commitment is to provide you with an opportunity for a full day of fishing steelhead or salmon on the Big Manistee River and making some fantastic memories while doing it!
